If you're called to pour into the next generation of athletes and leaders, we want to hear from you. Flag football experience is a plus — character is the requirement.
Who We Need
NOT JUST COACHES —
ROLE MODELS
We can teach plays. We can't teach integrity, commitment, or the ability to see greatness in a 14-year-old who doesn't yet see it in herself. Our coaches live the inside-out philosophy — you are not just running drills, you are investing in lives.

ROLES AVAILABLE
Head Coach
Lead a division. Manage the full coaching staff for your age group.
Assistant Coach
Support the head coach in practices, games, and athlete development.
Position Coach
Specialize in offense or defense. Work directly with skill players.
Conditioning Coach
Lead warmups, agility, strength, and endurance programming.
Team Manager
Handle equipment, logistics, and game-day operations.
The Process
HOW IT WORKS
Submit Application
Complete the 5-step volunteer application including personal info, coaching background, two references, and criminal history disclosure.
Background Check
All applicants undergo a comprehensive criminal background check including sex offender registry before any contact with athletes.
Interview
Qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview with Academy leadership to assess fit and philosophy alignment.
Orientation & Clearance
Approved coaches complete HBEFFA orientation covering child safety protocols, coaching philosophy, and conduct standards.
Child Safety is Non-Negotiable
EVERY COACH WILL BE BACKGROUND CHECKED
Checks include criminal history, sex offender registry, and identity verification. No volunteer will be cleared for athlete contact until complete. Convictions involving crimes against minors, sexual offenses, and violent felonies result in automatic disqualification.
